Besides our normal disaster recovery methods, traditional backups of the complete Exchange Server Information Stores are a thing of the past, because ezyexchange uses what Microsoft calls the DAG, or Database Availablity Groups.

This means that within our Exchange Server 2010 clusters, all of your mailbox data is replicated in real time, 24 / 7 / 365. This not only provides data redundancy, but high availability, meaning you should rarely if ever experience any downtime with ezyexchange.

In addition, our new brick-level mailbox backup facility is about to become available to individual customers who request it, offering you the option to have your entire mailbox specifically backed up. For a small additional fee per month per mailbox, you’ll have the opportunity to restore even an individual email from your mailbox backups if the need arises.

In this case, all data is stored off-system and is replicated in RAID arrays to ensure the viability of your data in the event of a hardware failure at our data centre. Likewise, all data is stored on our own server fleet, and does not leave Australia .. ever.
